Background
Sun Pharma’s social interventions for 2018-19 covered 12 states across 3211 villages, touching lives of approximately 6.5 million people. The interventions under different domains like health, education, drinking water and sanitation,disaster relief, social infrastructure and environment conversation were documentated under the CSR Annual Report of 2018-2019.
Services
Sun Pharma aims at an inclusive growth in the communities at their manufacturing sites who have diverse needs that go beyond healthcare. They collaborate with government agencies, panchayats, anganwadis and NGOs to meet the expectations of these communities by providing clean water or meeting sanitation needs or upgrading school infrastructure or building social infrastructure. They endeavor to help bridge critical development gaps and make a humble contribution to the lives of people. All their efforts and the impacts resulting thereof are put together in their CSR Annual Report 2018-2019. The Annual CSR report ‘Creating Pathways for Sustainable Communities’was designed and documented keeping in mind the vision and mission of the organization.
