Background
SPCHS (Sun Pharma Community Health Care Society) functions as an independent body touching the lives of over 4.2 lakh people with a fleet of mobile healthcare vans in the states of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Sikkim. This is done through mobile health units (MHU). Each unit is manned by qualified and motivated health professionals, who on a daily basis cater to the unmet health needs of the community through OPD services, point of care diagnostics, home-based newborn care, growth monitoring, ANC, referral services amongst others.

Sun Pharma through its CSR initiatives reaches out to the community’s near our plant sites and beyond providing them a fair chance to receive the quality care they need. More than 50% of the total CSR spends is into community health. Zivanta Analytics designed and documented the Annual Report 2018-2019 of the Mobile Health Care Project.
